The Bay Roberts Archives
The Bay Roberts Archives, which are located on the second floor of the Cable Building, have been established and are run by the Bay Roberts Heritage Society, Inc. The Archives were established because people were bringing old photos, books, and papers and there was a need to organize them so that they could be easily accessed.

The archives has an extensive collection of sealer's registries, photographs dating from the 1920s, early editions of the Bay Roberts Guardian, business records, local authors' works, cemetery inscriptions, business cards. In 2005 a grant was obtained from the Canadian Council of Archives to establish an Archives. Shirley Owen and Betty Jerrett have attended training and are now, with student help, actively conserving, documenting, and properly storing the archival material that has been acquired.
