Klondyke
Days
July 23rd– August 4th, 2008
Klondyke Days is the major summer festival in Bay Roberts. It is usually a ten day event and is held around the last week of July and/or the first week of August. The celebration includes the Klondyke Concert and the town's civic holiday which is held on the last day of the celebrations.
Events each year include: Children's Beach Party, Kid's Carnival, Klondyke Idol Contest, Dances, Community Meals (Breakfasts, Dinners, and Suppers,) Dinner Theatres, Afternoon Teas, Las Vegas Night, Buying Days
on the Klondyke, Barbeque, Fireworks, Concerts, etc...

Klondyke Days Logo
The event gets its name from the Klondyke, a causeway that connects Coley's Point and Bay
Roberts. It is called the "Klondyke" because it was considered to be a "gold mine" to local families that were paid to complete it in 1897.
