Planning for the Future

As a result of the Strategic Planning Session, a Vision Statement and Strategic Plan have been developed for implementing the project in phases over a number of years. The committee believes the approach to tourism, envisioned in the strategic plan, will nurture the preservation of town culture and heritage, as well as bringing many cultural tourists to the town.

Vision Statement

The Municipality of Bay Roberts will be the place where Newfoundland and Labrador celebrates and preserves, through interactive, cultural experiences, the traditions, values, spirit, and kind-hearted humor of our outport communities, as illustrated in the writings of Ted Russell.
