Bay Roberts has beautiful residential areas that have the advantage of being close to schools, shopping, churches and recreational areas. Housing starts, which averaged almost 50 per year over the last four years, show little indication of slowing down with over 20 new applications having been approved by council already this year. Young people are staying, older people are moving back and retired people are looking at our town as a quiet and safe place in which to live.

The first settled parts of Bay Roberts and Coley's Point are located on adjoining small peninsulas. As a result, parts of Bay Roberts are surrounded by water on three sides, and the town has frontage on TWO of the largest harbours in Conception Bay: Bay Roberts Harbour and Spaniard's Bay Harbour. The harbours give the town spectacular views of the water from most parts of town.

New Bay Shore Estates Subdivision
The Town of Bay Roberts announces the Bay Shore Estates subdivision of 24 lots with a panoramic view overlooking Spaniard's Bay Harbour, Upper Island Cove, and the Shearstown Estuary. 	Many visitors to the town comment on the pride which people take in their properties. Many heritage homes have been restored, while new homes reflect modern styles similar to those found in any North American city or town.
