Bay Roberts Wins Big At Communities In Bloom

We are Communities In Bloom NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!

 
The Town of Bay Roberts was crowned national champion in the 6,001-20,000 category. We received a rating of 5 Blooms – Bronze and a special mention for the reconstruction of the Three Sisters area.
 
Bay Roberts is only the 3rd community from Newfoundland and Labrador to win over the last 27 years. Ron Delaney, director of tourism & economic development said that “although we affectionately call NL the ROCK, we are certainly more than just a rock! We are a place of beauty, on many levels, including the land of tulips.”. The Town will play host to the 2nd annual Newfoundland Tulip Festival, featuring 50,000 tulips in various locations, in spring 2023.
 
Bay Roberts previously won a Best For Excellence in Tourism Award from the Golden Interstas World Tourism Awards in Solin, Croatia.
