The Town of Bay Roberts is committed to making our community as safe as possible for residents and visitors. This includes being prepared to respond to and handle any type of emergency.
Please note that we are a 911 Community. This means that you should dial 9-1-1 for any emergency within town limits.

Fire Department
The Bay Roberts Volunteer Fire Department is located in the Conception Bay North, Avalon area of Newfoundland Labrador, providing 24/7 fire and rescue service to the Town and surrounding areas.

Avalon North Wolverines Search & Rescue
The Ground Search and Rescue Team conduct ground searches with the aid of maps, compass, GPS (global positioning system), VHF radio, etc. The team also conducts Transport Canada boating safety and a number of team members are trained in cold-water rescue.
